Are We Toast

Population and economic growth require increased energy consumption with concurrent emissions of greenhouse gases. Do "developed" nations have the moral authority to demand that developing nations control population and economic growth to moderate global climate change?

Necessary for economic well-being, the consumption of fossil fuels is the primary cause of Global Climate Change. If we comprehensively evaluate efficiency and environmental impact, none of the currently proposed alternate fuels appear to decrease emissions of greenhouse gases. How can we balance the society's energy requirements with the need to diminish greenhouse gases in order to provide for the survival of our civilization?

The world around us will be drastically altered by Global Climate Change. What will change, how much, when and how mankind will be effected should be discussed here.

As individuals, what should we do about Global Climate Change? How effective will our actions be? Do you feel/see any effects of Climate Change, and do you expect Climate Change to impact your lifestyle?

What should nations do in response to Global Climate Change? What are the responsibilities of a Nation vs. the responsibility for the citizens of the world? Can nations cooperate in the face of changing resource distributions, migration of displaced peoples, spread of disease and other results of Global Climate Change?

What does Global Climate Change mean for our children and grandchildren? Will Global Climate Change mean the end of human civilization? Or, Are We Toast?
